Updating a Chat Room

You must have permission to edit Chat Rooms to perform the steps below.

1. On the Chat Rooms Page, click the "Edit" icon in the row of your chosen Chat Room. Alternatively, you can go to the Chat Room's own page and click the "Edit" icon in the upper-right corner.

2. Update the settings you wish to change.

3. Click "Save Edits".

4. Confirm the action on the dialog popup.

Deleting a Chat Room

You must have permission to delete Chat Rooms to perform the steps below.

1. On the Chat Rooms Page, click the "More" icon in the row of your chosen Chat Room.

2. Click "Delete Chat Room". Alternatively, you can go to the Chat Room's own page and click the "Delete" icon in the upper-right corner.

3. Confirm the action on the dialog popup.

Restoring a Chat Room

A Chat Room is only ever soft deleted so you can always restore previously deleted Chat Rooms. Proceed to the following instructions to learn how:

You must have permission to delete Chat Rooms to perform the steps below.

1. On the Chat Rooms Page, click "Show Deleted" in the upper-left corner.

2. Find the Chat Room by scrolling through the list or using the available filters.

3. Click the "Restore" icon in the row of your chosen Chat Room. Alternatively, you can go to the Chat Room's own page and click the "Restore" icon in the upper-right corner.

4. Confirm the action on the dialog popup.
