# Page Design Publishing & Versioning

## Publishing Page Designs

Since Page Design follows the same versioning rules as Meeting Links, you must publish a Page Design for changes to take effect. Proceed to the following instructions to learn how:

{% hint style="warning" %}
You must have permission to update Page Designs to perform the steps below.
{% endhint %}

1. On the Page Designs Page, click the "View" icon in the row of your chosen Page Design.

2. Once you are on the Page Design's own page, click the "More" icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Click "Publish Current Draft".
4. Confirm the action on the dialog popup.

Your Page Design will now be published and accessible to your Customers.

## **Unpublishing Page Designs**

If you wish to make your Page Design inaccessible to Customers, you can unpublish your Page Design. This revokes Customer access without needing to delete the Page Design and losing your data.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://meetbit.gitbook.io/docs/page-designs/page-design-publishing-and-versioning.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
